City Office Investment Purchase

Acting on behalf of fund clients, Kinney Green have negotiated the freehold purchase of 90 Fenchurch Street, London EC3, a modern office building of some 77,500 sq ft, as an investment.

The deal involved entering into a forward-commitment to purchase the property (which was pre-let to insurance group Thomas Miller & Co ), conditional upon the vendors carrying out a comprehensive refurbishment (including all plant and machinery), which in turn would trigger the lease to be signed, and then the completion monies to be paid.

The whole process from initial commitment to final purchase took 8 months
